This blog was created after the first meeting of representatives of various associations of doctoral candidates in Berlin on 19 May 2009. It is intended to discuss about the doctorate, career perspectives for junior scientists and political ideas in these fields. It is meant as the central point for collaboration of the major German Ph.D. networks Max Planck PhDnet, Helmholtz Juniors, THESIS e.V.
